A little about me…
I grew up in Glendale, Arizona and attended Arizona State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Parks and Recreation, Planning and Management.
I worked for the National Park Service for 27 years a Park Ranger and Manager in Law Enforcement and Emergency Services and served as the Chief Ranger of Big Thicket National Preserve for nine years. I retired in January 2013 to allow my wife to pursue her career, and to start my second career, Real Estate.
I am married to the love of my life, Christine (Chris) Peapenburg. We celebrated our 27th anniversary in November 2021.
We have four children, Elizabeth a preschool teacher in Prescott Valley, AZ, Laura studying for her Master’s in Public Health at Eastern Tennessee State University. Katie who manages a medical office in Southeast Texas, and Benjamin, a combat engineer in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft Drum, NY. We also have five perfect grandchildren who we absolutely love to visit.
We are members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Nederland, TX and enjoy activities with family, serving at church, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and serving as volunteers at Lutheran Church camps.
Mark has been a Realtor since 2013, a Real Estate Broker in Arizona since 2016 and licensed in Texas since May of 2020. Chris is an Administrative Program Specialist with the National Park Service currently working at Big Thicket National Preserve.
